Iron Man is one of the better comic book movies to have come out in recent years...though not as good as The Dark Knight, which came out only a few months later. But shit, that movie is fucking amazing.
Iron Man managed to be really funny and to have a strong character in Tony Stark, thanks to an excellent performance by Robert Downey Jr. It really worked as an entertaining adventure movie, even if you could give a fuck about the source material.
If this trailer is anything to go by, Iron Man 2 is looking to be a worthy follow-up. We see Tony Stark enjoying being himself and being Iron Man. But he's being watched by some dude, apparently obsessed with him. This dude then attacks Tony with electro whips while he's driving a race car. Cue action scene montage. At the end, we see Iron Man and his companion in grey armor War Machine fighting side-by-side. Cool.
*Update* I've been informed by my cousin that the crazy dude with the whips is named...Whiplash. Alright then.
