What do we learn from the interview?
- Kevin had a complete record put together (he always works solo in the studio) when he started working with Jon Brion. So Brion couldn't technically be called the producer for False Priest, but he's helping to give it the best sound possible, improve the fidelity. Programmed drums being replaced by real drums, hooray!
- False Priest will have a heavy low end not typically found in indie rock albums. It will rattle your car trunk.
- Janelle Monae and Solange Knowles guest on the album.
- of Montreal will tour with Janelle Monae once more and they're gonna put on a crazy fucking show the likes of which you have neither seen nor imagined.
