1. They're Canadian! Add 'em to Wolf Parade, The New Pornographers, Arcade Fire...pretty soon it's gonna be meaningless to classify bands that I like by their Canadian origin, because there are too many of them.
2. They used to be called Manitoba until they got sued by Richard "Handsome Dick" Manitoba, the frontman for some band called The Dictators. That dude sounds like a real winner (asshole).
3. Caribou's new album Swim is fucking fantastic. Sending chills down my spine. Competing with LCD Soundsystem's This Is Happening for dance rock supremacy in my mind.
